The company was founded in May 1994 and remains a family owned and operated business. By drawing on our prior experiences and the hands-on experience working with the founders, we are able to provide the best and most up to date services available. We are fully insured for Workers Compensation, General Liability and E&O. Certificates of Insurance can be provided on request. Our memberships include NFPA, ARCO (Associated Reporting Companies) and ILCA (Insurance Loss Control Association).
Scott started in commercial loss control in 2006 with TranStar Technical Services. Scott has an OHST certification with the BCSP, certified in OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems. Scott was President of Insurance Loss Control Association (ILCA) in 2012 and continued to serve on the board of directors through 2016. Prior to working for TranStar, Scott served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked in warehouse and distribution for Publix Supermarkets.
Cristine has been with TranStar since 2003 starting off as Office Manager and currently Vice President with excellence in customer service and management. Cristine's prior experience includes 10 years in field sales for an international product manufacturer handling customers throughout the Southeast and is familiar with territory management as well as field requirements and responsibilities.
